“TRANSMISSION”, a 3-part collaborative digital 3D collage series by Edward Lobo and Ethel Tawe, premiered at the 'African Ancient Futures' exhibition, at Whitespace Gallery, Lagos, Nigeria. Transmission I (Zulu) has also been exhibited on billboards across London, UK in a walking exhibition curated by flat 70 and JCDecaux.

This series explores African traditions of hair-dressing across time and space. From the Himba, to Zulu, and Swahili people, hair has brought physical and spiritual proximity, and facilitated intergenerational knowledge transmission across Africa and the diaspora.
