Lead researcher for Julianknxx's film installation at the Barbican Center, co-commissioned by WePresent. The film was borne out of a year of travels to cities across Europe, collaborating with choirs, politicians, dancers, activists and leading figures from their Black communities. The research delved into historical and theoretical Black histories of these cities, with the context of a 'global chorus'.
BONE BLACK: MIDWIVES VS THE SOUTH
Archival researcher for a short experimental hybrid documentary directed by Imani Dennison and produced by Flor de Oro Tejada. Bone Black is about the history and erasure of Black midwives in the American South and how the attack on birth workers has contributed toward the Black infant and maternal mortality crisis.
Curated and produced 'African Ancient Futures', a virtual and physical art + film exhibition Lagos, Nigeria, featuring multimedia artists based in London, LA, and Kinshasa.
Photographed and co-directed the lookbook for an artisanal collection designed by Tabea Hermas, and inspired by the Tanzanian Kanga cloth.
Curated a 3-part editorial and roundtable interview series with 5 leading voices (authors, artists, and culture workers) on African diaspora archival history, Featuring Tina Campt, Amy Sall, Velma Rosai, Catherine McKinley, and Awa Konaté.
Produced 15+ videos, TVCs, photo shoots, graphics + scripts for this international art fair's global campaign in Lagos, Nigeria. Oversaw the content creation, social media strategy & digital advertising.
Designed 17 digital collages for the narrative series ‘Holding Our Ground: Voices for Food Sovereignty’, commissioned by this international development fund.
